One of my favorite albums of all time and hugely underated. Bilious Paths is a melting pot of beautiful harmonies, chaotic breaks, droopy signature synths and moody atmospheres. It is one of those records that should be listened to from start to finish and appreciated as a whole. Probably Mike Paradinas' best work and ranks for me among the best RDJ and Vibert albums. Some highlights include 'On/Off' which is filthy dirty acid funk, 'Silk Ties' matches up amen breaks and the gabba bassdrum in perfect symbioses.. I could go on but in all honesty every track on this album is amazing and unique in its own way and yet the songs still compliment each other to make the album feel like a whole as oppososed to a random selection of tracks.

My my my, how far the amen break has come. This album contains what could be some of µ-Ziq's finest material in years. Amen breaks chopped to oblivion with his signature melancholy synths and phasey, distorted drum tracks make for a µ-nique listening experience. This album leaves me wondering what territory Paradinas could cover next, because he has progressed so much with his style over the years, and this album is a sure sign of that.
