On how many releases the track 'Der Klang Der Familie' appears till today, nearly uncounted. It is doubtless the biggest techno track from Berlin, if asking ravers, especially those who took part of the early rising of the harder techno club scene, always pointed out 'ah..THE Tresor, oh, I remember...' connected with 'Klang Der Familie'. In my opinion the original version 'Klang Der Familie' fits perfect into the picture of the Tresor Club, it has those edges and cants like the rooms of the original club down under the earth and all the remixes which are done are second best although there are really great ones like the MIKE Remix, the FUSE Remix or the Dr Rythm Remix.
Not so much is written and said about the two other tracks on the Tresor 6, so I want to recommend in particular the 'Spacegenerator' track. It is a more ambient or space track not without a kind of drive, and this is a serious trip, but without a bassdrum. The atmosphere is a deep dark melodic surface and in the first 6 minutes carried by a again and again screwing and expressing deep sequence going into the listeners heart. 'Spacegenerator' has the same quality like the main track but in another style of the electronic genre.
Together with the techno, or teKKno?, -track 'The Camonist' (it has not such a clear hookline like 'Der Klang Der Familie' but is also a high quality child of this early Tresor philosophy of hard unique techno, seen through the eyes of the originators) this three tracks are very special because Roingh & Röhrig had the luck during they had composed this tracks, to be kissed by this magic genius. As the Techno history and the careers of so many techno artists show this don't happens every day, it is a luck to have this special mood and moment.
