It's interesting to note that this release was done without permission. The original release on Tresor was simply taken by Derrick May and recut in Detroit for release on his label. This caused considerable friction in the relationship between Detroit and Berlin, and was a rather bold display of the May's arrogance (some of which is justified...but this??).
