This track really kind of started a small revolution for many techno enthusiasts. Some would say that Plastikman did, but that was really phase 2 of the techno revolution in the United States. What is it about this track? Well, I can only speak for myself but I suppose the killer sounds and the rhythmic pulse and robotic feel all impart the magic, this is just simply a killer track that deserves to be heard by every person on the planet who fancies themselves a techno afficianado. From the tight 909 kick drum to the "rubber band" 303, the production is simply flawless. The ambiance is deep, like you're literally in an underground subway tunnel riding the 8:15 to the city. But wait, it's dark, there's no lights on, just lasers piercing the darkness and sweaty bodies all around you pulsing to the rhythm, strobe lights flaring - is this 1992 one mile under Berlin? You bet it is! That's why we called it "underground" techno back then! It never lost its edge for me. You simply must check out this track. And Spacegenerator? Why that's a whole separate universe so I'll leave it to your imagination if you ever get this 12"! Yeah, it's worth searching for! CHECK IT!
