8m² Stereo - Tacet

Sometimes it's not so much the content of music as the 'craft' in putting music together that makes a release worth listening to repeatedly. 'Tacet' is rather difficult to categorize (or whistle while you work) but the shifting textures and palate make this a quite rewarding listen.
Some tracks remind me of the quieter moments of Eno's 'Before And After Science', there are elements of Tangerine Dream's 'Zeit' and David Toop's work springs to mind. Above all though, I found this release fresh and interesting, maybe the time differences between source material recordings used accounts for this.
