Adam Johnson must really be questioned on how he managed to produce this brilliant EP, I wonder what motivated him, as I would love to see or hear the source of this beauty.
I was initially, not a big lover of techno until I heard "kung Pow" from one of Chris Gray's mixes "Pangs Of Passion"
And I tell you... I was stunned at the creativity and the wonderful arrangement of all the instruments.
At that point, driven by curiosity, I had to hear the rest of the tunes and when I did, I was blown away by the detailed production and extremely groovy basslines.
As the above review has mentioned, some beautiful echoing chords which make this EP simply amazing.
If by any chance you are able to get your hands on this EP, pay and pay big, if you have too,
because the chances of you hearing something this good are extremely minimal.
I still to this day, ask myself how Adam did this, one hell of a producer & a seriously talented chap!

A2 "Captain Wood" is the richest IDM/glitch cut I've heard in quite a while. This cut has early Skam (the label) written all over it. Would have fit nicely on the "skampler" compilation. I've also heard some compare A2 to Aphex Twin or Future Sound of London. At any rate, side A of this 12" is a bit more along those lines, while side B is a bit dubbier w/ beautiful echoing chords . What an incredible 12" all in all. Worth every penny for just cut A2. I kid you NOT.
