Abandoned Place - Shadow Of Memory

I cannot really make up my mind about if I like this album enough to recommend it or not. Though this type of nostalgic dark ambience is nothing new to the ears and has already been done more times than I care to remember it still serves its purpose quite well, transporting you into your own mental house of cards now crumbling under the pressure of solemn realization and a vain remembrance of times long gone by. Less successful though, is the long track haunted by what can only be described as wailing zombies. Yes, that's right... your surreal existence on a plane devoid of time is suddenly disturbed by groans and distorted wails of the undead. This glaring fault instantly teleports you out of your cocoon and into the harsh reality thinking "maybe it is time to put on something else".
