Abstrak / Silicon - V995

I have to agree with minty here. The long track that runs inside out and ends in a locked groove is an absolute banger. I listened to it at home before but it wasn't untill i played it out that i realised the power in this one. Absolute minimal techno-funk that drives people mad! Get it if you like hood/BC etc..

this really is one my favourite techno records! there are 3 tracks on it (+1 locked groove). the 2 on the a-side are o.k., well done acid techno. but it´s the track on the flip, that catches my attention. it´s so good! it sounds like the best record, robert hood never made (i really appreciate his work!).
the sounds come from everywhere - pure rhythm. and if you like to know that, it got plenty of funk and soul.

this is one for those who know - or probably better: for those who feel it!

representing lansing michigan from back in the day! an underrated producer IMHO. in the same vane as the old bunker stuff but a little more interesting. original style
