Tales of Dusk & Dawn was for me one of the releases, or no - THE trance release in 2004 and one of the best trance tracks ever produced.
The production work and complexity of the arrangement of both tracks are outstanding in at least 5 different ways. It takes you to a journey, it tells a story, and it doesn't get boring - and that after at least 100 listens to this !
A beautiful Intro, a stunning build-up with typical Ace da Brain piano touch, and the massive break lead you into one hell of a main part with a mindblowing melody. Truly genious!
The Flipside (Sunset) is once again a harder interpretation of the (almost) same theme. But instead of just putting harder elements to it, Ace da Brain does it again and leaves you in an extraordinary journey again, creating another masterpiece of arrangement work. Hardtrance in its absolute perfection.
Tales of Dusk & Dawn is a milestone and it's one of the best vinyls I ever bought.
