I totally agree with the above comment. This was a very solid production from Adam Beyer which made it's way on to Plus 8 and was absolutely all over the place during the end of 2005 and most of 2006. Both the A and B sides are nice in their own unique way: grab the record or have a look online for a listen. The A side has weaved it's way into several high profile mix CD's including Luciano's Sci.Fi.Hi.Fi mix on Soma Quality Recordings.

Adam Beyer teams up with Plus 8 for his first release in some time, and his first US release in ages. "AWC" finds Adam moving away from his usual pounding peaktime gear with this pair of bristling, driving techno winners that veer towards the more minimal sphere, with layers of gritty analog elements helping the track build continuously. One of the hottest records of the moment.

After 5 months since the day I first heard it finally an official release! This track caused a buzz on the forums, with only reason...A Walking Contradiction is a pulsing minimal techno monster, with layers of different elements and an unstoppable rhythm with great build ups in both versions (though I prefer Part 2). Adam Beyer proves to be a leader in the field with inovative tracks like this!
This is minimal at the very best!
