This cd is awesome, the opener "it's me" is a wonderful track mixing break beats and wonderful melodies. The album is more idm-ish than his project I:Gor, Adapter inlcudes morea coustic elements such as a live trumpet on seveal songs, giving the feeling of Miles David going electronica. Ricahrd Devine contrbutes with a remix which makes me thing of the best works of Dither, ambient electronica and weird atmospheres at its best.

Wow, this is pretty damn terrible. There are some of the OLDEST and cheesiest hi-hat samples and old house music samples on this thing, its unbelievable. Im not too into that scene so maybe I could use better terminology, but when Im reminded of 90s-era 2 Unlimited-like artists with chicks moaning/uttering nonsensical things in the background, thats not a good thing. When I first sat down to listen to this, it at first sounded like it could very well be taking a good lesson from Oil 10 with some of the synth sounds that are used, but the further I got into the release, the more I realized that this just plain sucks. It basically sounds like someone found some old house/trance/techno (etc, whatever) tunes and decided to give them a "chill"/IDM bent and it DOESNT work. If all of the above werent enough, almost none of the tracks can decide what speed they want to be. I couldnt get into any single one for longer than a few seconds before the tempo changed. To top all that off, track 7 "Night" is inundated with the SAXOPHONE! And I thought the sax on the cover was just a joke. I kid you not. Bottom line is: if you want a cheesy, snore-inducing version of Venetian Snares with EXTREMELY outdated samples, then here you go, but for everyone else; stay away. I am willing to admit that "Gallery" is a pretty groovy tune and the only one that stands out above the mush, but if this track were on any other release it would just be mediocre.
