Elad Afgin has been one of the forefront artists since the revival of what has been dubbed Nu-school Goa. His digital promo release of 2006 stirred up a lot of interest and his free promo tracks online and the compilation appearances have always received positive response.

May 2009 sees his awaited debut CD album Astral Experience. This album pays homage to the legendary Israeli group Astral Projection. The Astral influence is clearly heard in his tracks even though his productions are more complex and diverse. No night-time, dark, aggressive music here, this is pure Goa trance made from the hearth full of warmth and joy and done by an artist whose love for the original Goa sound clearly shines in his productions.

Astral Experience is another quality album which will surely stand-out in 2009, a year which so far has been shaping up very well with lots of old styled Goa releases and much more coming in the pipeline. Hope this is just the beginning of a new era; or has it already started since a year or so?
