"Andy Turner was first spotted as a talent in the fat city record shop. Shopping heavily for drum breaks, on furthur grilling it turned out that Andy had recorded a track in Manchester entitled "let the funk ride" and was making music at home using an amiga computer and some software culled from the front of a computer magazine. This track along with the low bit amiga demos all had that incredible Aim style and led to this EP being recorded, superb arrangements and tight funk drums plus an ample smattering of vocal snippets set the stage for what has turned out to be one of the most glorious of musical adventures as the rest of this discography will show".
