Considering his high output, it is perhaps surprising that Denial is Jezper Soderlund's first ever release on the ITWT label, or in fact any of the labels in the Black Hole Recordings umbrella.
Denial featured on the recent ISOS7 album from Tiesto, and it was not long after that it appeared in EP format here, with accompanying Airbase remix and the obligatory radio edit for commercial purposes.
In many ways, Denial (which features the lovely vocals of Floria Ambra) reminds me of the Andain tracks Summer Calling and Beautiful Things, both of which were composed by Josh Gabriel and featured eerily similar female vocals.
The track itself begins heavy beats underneath the source of the melody. Floria Ambra's vocals kick in around the 1.15 mark and remain omnipresent throughout the remainder of the track. The Airbase remix is, as you would expect, far more trance-orientated.
