Alex Under - 1,2,3 Responda Otrapez

By this day and age, most have more than once heard about Alex Under, the alleged prodigy of modern minimal electronic music.
Well if you haven't, then this release, as much as any other with his name, will just about do the trick and let you know what it's all about!
Groove, slick and sly flow his tunes possess, and un undeniable smooth factor will subconsciously hypnotize you into a spectrum of parallel universes where barely palpable sound particles subtly unite into larger musical highways of intertwining sound wizardry.
You thought that made no sense? Well, it doesn't, until you give this one a try. Extrapezlo has the silkiest percussion arrangement one could want to hear, and my bets are it's a one way ticket to the Disney Land of techno when unleashed upon a hungry party crowd.
Trapezones Erectos tones down the madness in the percussion sector, but comes out strong with a steady and pulsating bass line, with an abbundance of background noises, whispers, claps, incomprehensible voices saying who knows what, brief melodic intrusions, and a few breaks thrown in for some measure. And when that sudden change in sound and texture hits you shortly after the 04:55 mark, and that wicked melody flies in out of nowhere, you can be just about positive you've made a home run with this one!
Otra Pezera is a two and a half minutes long interlude, if I may put it so, with a really deep bass line making way at the sixty second mark, while a bunch of apparently random and spaced out melodies just aimlessly meander through time and change shape...
Overall maybe not as good as his highly venerated Collage 12", but the first two tracks are absolute killers, and prove once again that Alex Under can and sure eventually will go down with the best of them!
