At the time of the release of this record, this guy and his associates on Madrid-based CMYkmusik are relatively unknown within this little sub-set of techno which many call 'glitch'. I don't think that will last much longer. This is a magnificently well executed work. Reminds us that when really done carefully, a track which I will even suggest could be called 'classic' in a few years, really needs no more than 3 or 4 elements and the thinest, most brittle percussion, to work. It really lives up to that other over-used tag, 'minimal'! The involvement of Thomas brinkmann in the project (credited for 'mastering') should tell us a lot. This will work really well with other sparse 'Cologne-school' house and techno. Try it, for instance with Secondo's 'I Always Gets Mine', the B side of 'It's Alright, I've Overstood' (Dreck).
