'Like Rain' was 'THE' soul ballad of 2003. Compared with 4-Hero's style, it's a jazzy, string-laden affair that is dominated by Ms. Crockett. Lots of radio play and was voted No. 3 in the Gilles Peterson Worldwide All Winners track of the year; ahead of Pharrell's Frontin' at No. 4! Big coup for a small label that belived in her talent. Much respect to all.

'Nappy' is an ode to this Brooklyn diva's proud 'nappy' dreads and relates the pressure she come up against to straighten her locks; unbelievable!
