One of the most underrated albums of the whole "trip hop" genre. But Come From Heaven easily transcends that rather limiting label. As, aptly, the first release on Massive Attack's Melankolic label, the best description of the songs on it would be "liquid torch songs." Undeniably gorgeous, emotionally stunning, full of pathos and strength and longing. "Sometime Later" and its sister song, "Somewhere Not Here," will break your heart ten different ways. Even the upbeat songs like "Rain" and "Delaney" have a tinge of melancholy to them. Definitely one of my favorites of all time.
