Absolutely right! Brilliant cd, with an electro-feel start, leading to some very slick melodious techno from Abe Duque & Heil and just pure stomping after this point. The longplaying style on the Taksi cd is not exactly my thing, but here too, track-choice is excellent.

Excellent set !!! the TAKSI mix takes some time to grow on the listener . Andrè Galuzzi gained cult-status as a resident of the now closed Ostgut club in berlin , here you can hear , why . He lets all 13 trax play throu very long , so that the atmosphere can build up nicely - the reason why i give this DoCD 5 starts is the john Selway Mix . Man , this guy is an underrated Genious . He even was a member of Koenig Cylinders in the very early 90ies and his remix of 99.9 is definitely one of the highlights in this grooing set , that is even better thatn the comparable Cocoon Sessions 3 which reaches the same heights with trax from nearly the same produceers .Renato Cohen's "Abelhas" is a monster track that got even more potential than "Pontapè" . This bassline is killing ! John Selway uses only the best Techno available from artists like Heiko Laux , Alter Ego , Dietrich Schoenemann , Robert Natus , Marko Nastic or Mateo Murphy and lots of own stuff ( remixes , under his real name or with Smith & Selway) . Once he moves past Heil's "20.000 Leagues Under the Skin" Part 1 there ain't no stoppin - the monster tunes keep coming . "Devil In My Pants" ,Selway pres.
