I remember the day i purchased it, i was very impressed by the fresh hi-tek sounds, the crispy 'radium kickdrums' and the ultra-smooth digital mixing (though i prefer a skilled vinyl mix myself). My thoughts after hearing this cd for the first time were something along the lines of 'wow, i cant wait to see what exciting new developments this genre can bring us next'.
How wrong i was. To this day, the most part of any dj mix by radium, wether it be at a party, or on a mix cd, contains most of these tracks, why? Because the audiogenic frenchcore genre has offered us nothing new since. We continue to see these kickdrums and industrial sounds recycled, and i can honestly say that i have not been impressed by anything new on the psychik genocide label (with the exception of The Speed Freak releases)
mainly because its all based on at least one of these tracks we find on this cd. I would definitly recommend this cd for anyone interested in the audiogenic frenchcore sound, as it contains the classics that defined this genre.
