I love this track so much. The original is one of the most soulful soul records in recent memory, sampling Backstabbers by the OJays. The Hex Hector mix isn't great and the sound quality on this vinyl isn't brilliant, I was also disappointed that it didn't use the OJays sample.

But the real gem on this release is the Pound Boys mix. Big house beats but maintaining the sample and also the soulful nature of the original.

One of the few HQ2 Remixes I've ever liked, this has to be thier best work to date. The first 4 minutes (and verse) build up really nicely to the chrous that's wonderfully supported by some typical HQ2-Style Big Beats. The remix is really as great one, and if it's well-placed and mixed can really bring something exciting to a DJ's set. It's the kind of remix that, despite what you may think about HQ2 (I am certainly NOT a fan) just really works in the clubs. Probably thier best remix to date, for me anyway, that they haven't beaten since. Good shit!

The mixes on this cd by HQ2 are probably the best remixes the duo have ever made! The club mix has the typical HQ2 vibe and energy we've grown to recognize and love except with a lot more vibe and energy (think "Tamia - Stranger In My House (HQ2 Remix)" + Kosheen - Hide U ("John Creamer And Stephane K Remix)", while the vibe mix has a retro-disco feel to it and uses the "Backstabbers" bassline of the original mix. This cd also contains an excellent garage house remix of Brotha by Spen And Karizma and another remix of WIDMY by the Poundboys. Fabulous! ;)
