I really enjoyed this album. The production is CCC: crisp, clean, and creative.

Take 'Supernova', for example, a great track that includes quirky samples ("The only way to get the entire comminuque is to send someone up into space above the radiation belt...this may seem far fetched, but my observations are based on carefully computed data." Haha), and jazzy upright bass and drums you'd find on a Ninja Tune release (Funki Porcini, perhaps?).

Switch gears to 'Suspect Device', a grimey & wobbly DnB tune that kicks real nice.

'The Stalker' contains an espionage brass sample that reminds me of Propellerhead's 'On Her Majesty's Secret Service'.

Want an extra dirty track? 'Sonix' screams electronic distortions. Yummy.

Do you like breakbeats? Do you like DnB? Me too! 'Supernatural' seems to be a hybrid track that introduces these two mistresses to one another.

'This Life' is a loungy track that further demonstrates the breadth of Aquasky's musical visions. The styles on this album are quite varied, and maybe that's what threw people off, I dunno. For me it seems like each track tickles me in a different spot.

Released in 1999? Respect.
