39 mysterions… What’s happening here? I first thought this was a CD or an ambient-trip but it isn’t… 39 mysterions is more than that, this is a world, let’s say: a parallel universe. It doesn’t have a beginning or an end, it’s just a missing piece deep in the brain or soul.
You don’t ‘listen’ to this, no, you’re entering this strange, unknown parallel universe. It’s dark in there, there’s only one wall of glass, the rest is empty. You’re not lying or sitting, you just don’t have a clue what’s happening or how you came in this place. Through the wall of glass you see the real(?) world, the usual daily struggle is passing by but in slow motion, you can’t hear it either. There’s also no time spectrum here.
So, are you asking yourself where you are? No, you don’t. Are you scare or frightened? No, you aren’t, you’re relaxed, you’re feeling comfortable here. You hear drones and noises which seem vague and yet not, like spirits or lost souls floating around you and whispering things in your ears, but when you’re looking behind you, there’s…no one.
Suddenly, all is gone, you’re back into the real(?) world and you’re lying in your chair very satisfied, purified. A few minutes later you remember: it’s Audela, nothing more, nothing less. You are aware that your life will never be the same again without this previous empty space in your soul, now filled with Audela's 39 mysterions.

39 Mysterions was sent to plague recordings as part of a massive demo set of which 5 compositions were used to put together the self-titled audela CD (plague 002). Since 39 Mysterions lasts 52 minutes it didn't fit on the debut album so it was released as a full-fledged album short after. The 5 tracks on "Audela" as well as "39 Mysterions" finish a first cycle of music inspired by Jupiter's Great Red Spot, an ongoing storm first glimpsed 400 years ago. The first album evokes turmoil, the second brings back equanimity...

39 mysterions is definitely my favourite Audela track, a long journey into space.
I pushed the start button and knew immediately that this would be an overwhelming experience. A smooth sound faded in. It came far behind me and surrounded me. After a couple of minutes my body became weightless, my bloodpressure felt off ... A voice said: "heartbeat 108" ... my brains disconnected ... "heartbeat 79" ... I closed my eyes ... "heartbeat 63" ... where am I? ... "heartbeat 47" ... what is this all about? ... "heartbeat 39 ... 39 ... 39 ... you're ok now". I opened my eyes and was completely astonished by the beauty I saw. I was transported some lightyears away from earth to a new unexplored world. A magenta fog covered the stars. On my left an ocean of comets passed without making any sound or noise. Behind me appeared a tunnel of light. Then the sound came back, very loudly. The wave pushed me some lightyears further into a big fireball. What an experience! I heared a drone spinning from left to right. Deep blue gasses exploded from the fireball. I felt a pressure in my chest. The explosion blew me back into darkness for a couple of minutes.
I was laying on my bed and heared a snoozing sound. I opened my eyes and took a look to the digital clock near my bed. It indicated "39:39". Someone had put a cd case on my night table. It was from an artist I never heared before: Audela - 39 mysterions. I pushed the start button.

I believe in magic now…
