Reviews & Discussion

AA1 "Black Planet" is an excellent, way underrated and -featured track. It's more a short draft than a full song, similar to many of Drexciya's early tracks, and it's a moody and calm groove, quite the exception for Aux 88.
The female vocal sample is slightly out of tune but adds some life which goes amiss on the track's instrumental version on the "Man or Machine" CD.

AA2 "The Flight" is another trademark Aux 88 "Tour de France"-clone, albeit one of the more interesting ones thanks to its aviation theme and cockpit vocal samples.

Electrotechno - this track is dope. Hadn't heard much fresh sounding electro stuff since really long time, and then this showed up around '96. quite dark metallic electro take on detroit ride. I loved it back then and still do.
