A jaw-dropping dancefloor frenzy of a track. Latin inspired rhythm with broad sweeping strings that slowly build to a few magnificent climaxes. The beginning of the sound that started the Los Hermanos sublabel, so if you like the Latin-styled rhythm and sweeping strings, you may also really enjoy the Los Hermanos releaes, most importantly, the album: On Another Level.

The true mark of a brilliant song is when you can get a broad range of people with different tastes in music to all agree on the superior quality of the song. Such is the case of Knights Of The Jaguar. When you've got commercially famous dj's like Pete Tong and Paul Oakenfold caning the track as much as dj's like Joe Claussell, Derrick May and Danny Tenaglia, the writings on the wall that this is is a brilliant track!

This track was the beginning of the Los Hermanos sound, but in my opinion the young label never reached this quality level so far. Why is this track so wondeful... After some time thinking about it, I'd say that above all the melodic sharpness, the track distinguish itself from the global techno production with his unique macro-structure, made of several periods producing a series of exponential climaxs. After Amazon, it's the most outstanding UR track.

A beautiful techno track. Really original. Very gentle. Very melodic. B-side is good also - just overshadowed by the purity of the Knights of the Jaguar (the story apparently goes back to the Aztec Empire when the Knights of the Jaguar took revenge on those who caused suffering and injustice). A jewel in the great Underground Resistance catalogue.

This is the best selling release that Underground Resistance has ever put out. Infact I am pretty sure it is the only release that Mad Mike has asked for 2 seperate remix releases to have put out. All the big names in Detroit pulled together to keep Rolando's name clean from the a$$holes @ Sony in Europe from the bootlegging business. Horray to the Burden brothers, Derrick May, Jeff Mills, and Mad Mike for making the excellent release go even farther!

A great track which is played by DJ in all subgenres and is a consent between all scenes in electronic music movement.
This fact was a reason of BERTELSMANN MUSIC GROUP and
SONY MUSIC ENTERTAINMENT to rip off "Jaguar" without(!)
a approved licence from UR (because UR didn't want to license)to publish and sell it out with the original and a cheesy trance version. True people, FUCK THE MAJORS, don't support these machinations of music business, buy the original!
