The first thing you notice about this odd release is that the front & back inserts are made entirely of silkscreened copper sheet metal. Vikinga Brennivin is a dark and magical soundscape of glowing & shifting synth hums, industrial crackling, noise and growling coming in and out of the background, and an overall eerie sense that you're travelling through a place which is out of time and space. A truly haunting listen. Comparable to say, Zoviet France's "in.version", but with much more to offer in terms of transition between sparse, dense and intense.
