Came with inlay sheets, the first reads:
Pioneer/Headspace are sending out very limited quantities of the Lucid mixes to selective radio & DJ's (10 in total). Following on from the promo versions of the well received Evolution mix Lucid have produced a full vocal 12" club mix & a 12" dub mix.
The second reads:
BT enters into the third millennium with another ground breaking release 'Dreaming' taken from the exceptional current album 'Movement In Still Life'.
Not that the last millennium was a disappointment for a man who created himself as the unrivalled master of sweeping, breathtaking trance epics during its last decade. In the dying stages of the 1990's BT saw 'Mercury & Solace', his first single from the new album, crack the national Top 40 and Tsunami One, the second release from the project, hit the No. 1 spot on the dance charts.
As well as breaking into a more mainstream national consciousness, BT has had his work cut out for him on other fronts. During the success of 'Movement In Still Life' he was asked to score two Hollywood films - one alternative (Go) and one blockbuster (Under suspicion - a vehicle for Gene Hackman and Morgan freeman). Next on the agenda was Brian composing music with Peter Gabriel for the Millennium Dome and then creating the sounds for the current playstation game 'Die Hard Trilogy 2' through electronic arts.
'Dreaming' provides us with all BT's familiar trademarks such as long atmospheric intros, distinctive melodies and slick progressive trance production. BT has joined forces with Kirsty Hawkshaw of Opus 3 to provide her haunting vocals which always guarantee an enchanting journey.
The remixes provide us with a great mix of progressive house & full on trance courtesy of Evolution, Mark Shimmon, Lucid, Science Department & BT himself. 'Dreaming' is of course already being championed by BT's firm supporters John Digweed, Paul Van Dyk & of course Sasha.
