Baby D - Let Me Be Your Fantasy

This is all about the excellent Rank 1 remix. Frankly, for me, they have bettered the original as i prefer 4/4 trance to the older piano rave.

Rank 1 keep the excellent vocal intact, however, the piano is replayed rather than sampled. I'm sure they've added extra notes here and there to make the riff flow a little better; either that or its in a slightly different key. Hmmmm. It sounds a wee bit different.

The breakdown is the usual excellent Rank 1 affair. Nice chords that filter in for that true hands in the air touch the lasers moment.

I remember being at work at Freemans in Peterborough on once saturday night and hearing this on Judge Jules saturday night show he was broadcasting from Ibiza in summer 2000 just as we were closing the store for the day. I just stood by the stereo department, jaw dropping as to how good i thought and still think this is, just wishing i was in that crowd with my hands in the air to this.

Rank 1 really excelled themselves with this remix. An easy one to mess up given how good the original is. I can't think of anyone else i would have had remix this track. A timebomb for sure.

The Trick Or Treat mix is, frankly kak. I'm not big on UK Garage.
