Reviews & Discussion

I have to agree with Riba on 2 things. 1) it is Jazzy, Down Tempo, Leftfield, Breakz. 2) It should be on the Fabriclive series BUT!!! that is it. I am an eclectic music fan and collector. So obviously I have been subscribing to both. I have to say what these artists do (And until I listened to this and then looked them up and the other things they do like Fila Brazilia I haden't heard of them) is brilliant. You can't deny that it is a good mix full of good music. It might not be leaning towards what you like to listen to but you have to agree that it is a good DJ mix of what they represent. AS i Said I listen to all styles not just dance so I am very easy going... As long as there was some imagination and effort behind the record with some personal expression with it not just copying others coming out with bland faceless attempts to make it big then I am happy.

Dissappointment - the word that describes this CD. I don't know how this ended up as a "Fabric" CD. Jazzy, loungy, down tempo, saxophones, guitars, flutes... If this was the "Fabric Live" CD I wouldn't say anything... But it isn't! If you liked Mayer, Swayzak, Akufen, Slam, Radioactive Man, Tyrant... and all those other techno/tech-house/house/minimal/electro fabrics... skip this one. It just doesn't fit the "Fabric" series. I really don't know what were they thinking about when they approved this CD. Don't get me wrong, I don't mean disrespect to the artist, they for sure have their audience and fans, but as I said, this isn't "Fabric" as we know it.
