If Syd Barret was going to start Pink Floyd today, then this is the 21st Century version of Interstellar Overdrive or Set The Controls For The Heart Of The Sun. Starting slightly abstract it quickly winds and twists into a flowing mantle of layered waves of electronics tainted with a hint of the early Floyd psychedelia without the organic instruments. It's so well done, just the kind of muzak that I've always wanted to compose myself. That's one of three tracks. The remaining two will satisfy those who like more recent Boards of Canada. A grand release indeed with arty packaging.
