I cannot believe that people do not totally freak out over some of these amazing Fourth Floor releases, this for example samples LED ZEPPLIN and just lays to waste practically evry other toon to waste from this era..Lenny D, Tommy Musto, Tom Sozzi, Frankie Bones .. these were the cats setting trends that would be folowed years later.
For all the modrn day producers that use Ableton and Pro Tools etc.. you uys should know that back in these days we didnt have the ability to instantly SYNC samples in time and it was a helluva task to make these tracks with the gear that was available at the time.
These cats were innovative and had the funk long before todays sounds were coming out.
