Dragonfly brings us a very tasty e.p. from Bamboo Forest. Bamboo's flavor of smooth, yet highly dancable psy-trance has really begun to grow on my in this age of GMEsque clones and this e.p. is a great introduction to their sound if you have never heard it. Lots of modern psychedelic sonic action going on here, yet the manage to never fall into the "neo psy-tek full-on", or whatever the hell they are calling full on these days, trap. Step by Step gives us a number that will move the dancefloor aplenty, but is also filled with smooth vocal and ethnic flute samples. Smooth groove... its a good thing. The flipside offers us Vision. Vision is another smooth, but hopping track that is perhaps a hair more on the "hard" side when compared to Step by Step (not worry, its not GMS), but regardless it is the equal of its brother on the opposite side of the black disc. This is definately one of Dragonfly's better recent releases.
