Reviews & Discussion

Rated 4/5
Review by Crijevo Jul 06, 2004 (edited over 5 years ago)
It seems everyone hated this record or attacked these two talented shaveheads plagiarising whoever 'Sinead' or 'Punk' there was... BUT, despite all this criticism and saying Banderas wasn't worth it when they lasted, 'This Is Your Life' still stands as one of the most beautiful songs ever written because it summarises the facts of life in merely four minutes.... The rest of the album sounds as many would after them, faceless at trends but unique in itself (and what makes Thievery Corporation sound better at that point?!) - Banderas mix pop with occasional subversity, predominantly feminist but beautifully balladic work. 3.8/5
