I think Bark Psychosis must be one of the best kept secrets of the past 20 years. They may not have been prolific but what they have released has been of phenominal quality. This music inhabits the same post-rock sphere as late era Talk Talk but manages to add more depth and richness.
Taking elements of ambient, jazz, electronica and rock they create a sound which is at times hushed and minimal and at other times grandiose and thrilling. How they make such differences work on one album is a mystery. I don't think words can do it justice. Just listen.
