Another track which made that epic Above & Beyond set at Global Gathering 2008 so special. This is exactly what you need to hear midway through an uplifting 3hrs of Anjuna-trance, as this really does a great job of breaking up the melodic feel and pushes towards a much more futuristic and techy mood.

The Original (I Prefer This Mix) is mind-tinglingly wonderful, it is full of thumping percussion and a driving bassline (typical Claessen) with the addition of frequent well synced pads and vicious synths throughout. In the breakdown there is one of those great moments in trance where you are introduced to one of the best vocal samples of all time; deep and ethereal, as well as being quite fitting with the futuristic backdrop and trancy build-up.

The second 'Original Mix' is simply a much more minimal piece which lacks the atmosphere and feeling of ascendancy demonstrated in the first mix, however it is a very good version for use in harder or shorter sets - possibly for a bit of B2B mixing.

Here the quite sublime Super8 & Tab return the favour given for the mighty "Elektra" by offering a progressive and uplifting number, whilst also maintaining the character of the first Original Mix. They introduce a well balanced piano melody which replaces the hard percussion, and a dreamy synth riff is preferred to the rasping original; producing an a-typical piece of Anjunabeats euphoria. 5/5
