a lot of people thought that the beasties were dead in the water after "licensed to ill". def jam had the bomb squad mixing new beats to old beastie tracks, but when chuck d. heard the "paul's boutique", the idea was scrapped.

this albums' production by the dust brothers and mario caldato jr. stands out as the beasties grow up a little.
