Patti Girl was not written by Gary and the Hornets. It was written by Dick Campbell and first recorded by Dick Campbell and the Scarlets. Lou Reizner was the producer of the 1966 Dick Campbell Sings Where it's At LP and was also the producer for Gary and the Hornets. He used one of Dick's songs for his other act.
