Bim Sherman's voice on this is just magical, on a par with his classic album 'Across The Red Sea'. The combo of On-U and Indian rhythms (Talvin Singh is on fire here, in fact all the musicians are) produces an inspiring, uplifting album that defies the genre conventions of dub / reggae / world music and creates a genuine masterpiece. The sum of the parts really IS greater than the whole.
This album is the soundtrack to a beautiful, peaceful summer day: mellow, spiritual, uplifting, technically awesome. I could write all day about how good this album is but I'd rather listen to it instead.
