The thing that I find most remarkable about this album is that I can't put my finger on one thing that makes it incredible. I'm not sure if it's the beautiful, ambient synth work or the throwback-80's-metal guitar riffs (described by someone else as "hard candy riffs" -- a fitting description), but this album is stunning from front to back. When listened to in the right mindset, it's great for zoning completely out. It also makes great background music for most kinds of parties. It's very difficult to describe the sound of this band, because I haven't really heard anyone else who sounds like them. When I interviewed them, however, I suggested that they were a louder, darker, gothic version of SSQ, and the guitarist seemed to agree (he's apparently a big fan). Lovers of gothic rock or synth rock will enjoy this album immensely.
