I really appreciate that, in this day and age, I can find and purchase a release like this on VINYL. Really glad that people are still struggling to get their music out in a physical format, not to begrudge digital releases though as sometimes just getting your music out there is achievement enough.
This is a very strong release where all four tracks, although different mixes of the same track, have something to say. Deepness permeates throughout; the original with a continuous deep keyboard sound, hypnotic percussion and some echoed vocal snatches of conversation. The Salvation Mix, slowed down, groovy, a little psychedelia then later some atmospheric guitar, kinda Ronny Jordan-esque, real chilled. DJ Jus Ed's Lost Soul Mix has that nineties Prescription vibe ALL over it, but then if you've been catching this guy's releases on his Underground Quality label, you wouldn't be surprised by that only pleased that his midas touch extends here as well. Lastly the Redemption Mix reminds me of Aybee's (Armon Bazile) productions, a dreamy broken beat journey to the close of the side on a record that is definitely worthy of your support.
