As far as I’m concerned, Bombrun is the essential Black Sun Empire. Bleak, sci-fi atmospherics juxtaposed with beats that crunch and rot with the grit of hardcore. The extended “Black Sun” samples make this track something of a spiritual foundation for its creators who, despite their many achievements, have yet to recapture the smoldering ferocity of this record.
