An extremely ellusive record. Originally released via a limited 2X12" promo on M.O.S. back in 2002, when it made a small appearance on Sander Kleinenberg's Essential Mix, then it suddenly dissapeared never to be heard from again... until now. Canada's "Release" records somehow bought the rights to this release, tracked down the Grayarea mix thats been floating arround on white label and resurected the Blackwatch remix for their Release Elements sub label. Getting a hold of the Release Elements Promo was vindication for me (as well as others) since very few people got the original promo pack and even fewer are willing to give it up. Grayarea's re-rub adds heavy nu school breakbeats that swarm over lush, intense pads and edits of the original vocal. They do a pretty good job turning a deep, late night vocal cut into a main room floor banger... yet my only reget is that they didn't "blend" the vocal to make it fit tighter in the track. Blackwatch's "Jacked Hi" mix was an instant classic in my mind, and even almost 2 years later it still hits home. One of the few pieces of progressive house/breaks that will stand the test of time.
