Ever since Jimmy van M aired his Threshold Dub of Barotek on 2001's best mixed compilation, Bedrock 2, Michael aka Blackwatch has been enjoying a rather fanatical following, and for good reason, too. He has range, he has style, he has unmistakable trademark samples--the guy churns out beautiful prog. Skin Deep is tougher, grittier than your ordinary tektrance, bordering on tribal almost, and can fit almost anywhere into any kind of set. Another great release on Bill Hamel's tek label, go out and play it.
