The Blasteroids EP is easily *the* best electro I have ever heard. The four tracks are quite athmospheric and dark but they are also quite melodic and very catchy. Electro percs, scifi synths and awesome vocoder lines meet ambient pads and C64 style arp effects. All this with colourful and varied yet coherent track execution. Stimulates both the mind and the body. I'm not sure if electro-purists will like this one as I think this release transgresses the limits of it's genre. Some reviewer compared Escaping Don't compute to Jarre and one friend of mine noted that there is something similiar in the music to early Front Line Assembly. Whether or not this is a good thing probably depends on your music taste. The production quality and general track execution is simply superb. Much attention has been paid to the details of the tracks but the tracks never lose their aim and they are very danceable. I can easily recommend it to electro fans who aren't just looking for Detroid-purity, fans of scifi sonorities and maybe even early EBM/Electro-Industrial fans. Or just people who can apreciate really good electronic music.

'Blasteroids' is in my opinion one of the best electro tracks produced to date, it is nothing short of amazing. Awesome production, programming, chord progressions, synths, tuned pitch shifted vocoded voice for god sake!(Im only jealous) this is a whole new level for vocoded electro programming,I mean WOW!
This is gonna smash a few dance floors if this is played out and is going to be a very hard act to follow. This is the future, not since Aphex Twin has electronic music been taken to the next level and this exciting. I cannot recommend this release enough. absolutely Awesome!
