The second disc is more aggressive highlighting a variety of well known and accomplished MCs. Blue Sky Black Death pull back some of the production's complexity on these tracks to allow the MCs to show their particular style.
What propels these guys above any other artist doing instrumental hip hop is the strict attention to detail. In addition, the rare release of two debut albums in one showcasing two sides of production was a brilliant move with fantastic results. I expect great things for their next release which is supposed to be a full length with Holocaust of the Wu-Tang Clan titled, "The Death Coast".
Released by Mush Records who continues its near flawless exploration of funding only the most forward thinking music.
