An absolutely lovely record. "Greenwich" kicks off with a fat buzzy 80s synth bass line and retro drum line, then along come the aphex/u-ziq/kraftwerk-ish synths to soothe away those troubles. Truly emotional machine music.
"Fortune Green" is a more subdued affair with a nice slow-attack organ tone, muffled jolting rythm and a little vibrato synth.
The title track is SAW-I era aphex without the cassette mastering and with a little computer voice in there too. Truly lovely.
Finally "La Nuit (Slumber mix") combines SAW-I synths with a high-pitched pinging and big bass tones.
If you've been longing for some more tunes like those early Aphex discoveries, I suggest you turn to Bochum Welt.
