Anyone who samples Apocalypse Now is ok by me. Bomb Dogs loads up one side of this record with nervous radio calls from PBR Streetgang to Almighty and then tops it off with aggressive breaks, deep, droning bass and cascading orchestral stabs that convey a sense of doom. Despite the harshness of this one it remains quite mixable and it’s given me the cause to resurrect Richard Devine’s SixSixtySix ep from the archives as it shares a similar sound. Can’t knock this one at all.
