Boom Jinx Feat. Thomas J. Bergersen - Remember September

The Original Mix starts off with a very deep feel, almost like it's predesessor "To Free To Follow". It has a small amount of rhythms which gradually grow and capture the listener like a spiderweb of sound. Then a few minutes later, some beautiful sounds flourish dragging you deeper into the music. And as it all breaks down during the middle of the song, it seems like it will stay in the calm abeyance for quite a while. But you'd be mistaken, because it then brings back all the beats wrapping them around the sublime sound that is the chorus. This carries on for some time but the chorus is so unique, that it's very difficult for the lasting sound of it to even have a chance to get boring. A while after being in the aural Cloud 9, the chorus ends and you are slowly released from the web of sound. The ending fades out into the distance really well. So much that I for one hardly noticed it and soon had myself thinking "Whoa! Where did it go?"

Duderstadt take the original and make it slightly clubbier, loosing the deepness, but keeping the dreamy elements of the original in place. You are right in thinking this is a similar style to Dirk and Marco's own "Muhanjala". Some similar sounds are used and it seems to go on in the style of "Muhanjala" for a while. Until, that is, Jinx's chorus is emulated by the Duderstadt brothers. What Øistein did to the original chorus was great. But somehow, the Duderstadt mix lifts the energy and beauty of it even higher than I thought possible.

This is my first AnjunaDeep purchase. And I'm glad that it is. There is quite a contrast on here even for both tracks being of the same progressive style. It's the impact the sounds give that allow you to distinguish between each version. I don't know how likely it'll be for you to find this. AnjunaDeep vinyls are certainly rare where I come from. But if you do see this peeking behind a stack of tacky commerical vinyls, you'll know that in terms of sound, this 12" sticks out like a sore thumb!
