Absolutely gorgeous debut release by Break SL. A simple, rugged beat structure in the style of Detroit hotshot Omar S, provides the basis for the main track 'Trombone'. With its skewed stabs the track just goes & goes until a melancholic piano riff sets in and releases the tension. No need for special tricks or fancy edits here - this is truly a timeless track which gives much hope for the future of this young producer.
For me, one of the best records of 2007, no doubt.
