It's been five months since the last DAE release (the wonderful "Flash It Out" EP by Schmoov!) but they're back in action here with a dope four track EP. This is a split EP with the mysterious Buck Naked (who's previously released material for Guess Who) providing two tracks on side A, and the one and only Johnny Fiasco (under his Nook & Cranny moniker) providing the goods on side B. Buck Naked's cuts are full of choice disco and funk samples, breaky percussion, and are 100% aimed at the dancefloor. Good party material here that will definitely please fans of All Good Funk Alliance. On the flip Mr Fiasco reworks the Fog's classic "Been A Long Time" to nice effect on B1 and provides my favorite track of the EP with B2's " Blue Moon" - a deeper cut that sounds beautiful at 4am in a sweaty club.
